This post is dedicated to those housewives who have acquired such an indispensable thing in the household as a multicooker. A smart saucepan is a real salvation for those representatives of the fair sex who, due to the fast pace of life, cannot stand for hours at the stove.
Today we will share with you the most indispensable tips for using a multicooker. You may already be familiar with some of them.
How to use a multicooker
For 5–6 hours of cooking in the “Stew” mode, amazing baked milk is obtained.
If it is off, you can boil milk in the same mode for 1 hour.
The body of the pan perfectly retains heat, therefore, if you ferment warm milk in the evening, in the morning you can enjoy wonderful kefir or fermented baked milk.
Pouch eggs can be cooked in 5 minutes in the “Steam” mode, and hard-boiled eggs in 12 minutes.
In the “Pilaf” mode, it is not difficult to cook stewed potatoes with a golden crust. It is not necessary to stir the potatoes and control the process: the smart pan knows when to switch to heating mode.
In the “Stew” mode, you can also cook potatoes without frying from the bottom.
Steam mode is a godsend for lazy men: it can be used to prepare a sumptuous dinner of ready-made dumplings.
To do this, put 0.5 kg of finished dumplings in a special multicooker basket and pour 1.5 liters of water into the unit. Before cooking, you need to salt and pepper the dumplings and add a tablespoon of butter to the basket.
The Bake mode allows you to roast fish and cook any meat.
The “Stew” mode is the best choice for preparing the most transparent and fragrant jellied meat.
The “Stew” or “Buckwheat” modes allow you to cook 2 dishes at once: cereal or side dish at the bottom, and meat, cutlets or sausages on top in a special basket.
In the “Braising” mode, you can prepare an amazing soup in 90 minutes.
The “Baking” and “Pilaf” modes allow you to cook a wonderful dish – navy-style pasta.
To do this, first fry the minced meat with onions in the “Baking” mode, and then add dry pasta (horns or feathers) to the pan before turning on the “Pilaf” mode.
All this needs to be poured with a small amount of boiling water so that only the tips of the pasta stick out of the water. Salt and stir the ingredients before pressing the program button.
