- 2 medium cucumbers
- 1 large lemon

- 1-inch slice of ginger, peeled
- 2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel, cut from the peeled leaves
- 1 glass of water
Prepare all ingredients. Squeeze lemon juice into a blender (or peel the lemon and place whole), add cucumbers, ginger and water. Whisk until smooth. Strain the liquid through cheesecloth. Return the juice to the blender. Cut and remove the thorns along the side of the aloe leaf. Cut it lengthwise. Skim off 2 tablespoons of pure aloe vera gel, avoiding the yellow gel that is closer to the surface of the leaves.
Add the aloe gel to the juice blender. Whisk again. Serve over ice. Enjoy!
