When treating sinusitis, antibiotics work so that temporary sinus infections become chronic: the drugs also kill beneficial bacteria, allowing the yeast to multiply. And the stuffy nose only gets worse. You can defeat the infection by simply washing the nasal cavity.
Sinusitis is characterized by inflammation in the nasal cavity and sinuses and subsequent swelling that blocks fluid flow. It can be caused by yeast proliferation. The classic treatment scenario for sinusitis is the use of antibiotics, which only aggravates the situation, and sinusitis becomes chronic.
The use of antibiotics leads to the fact that temporary sinus infection becomes chronic: these drugs also destroy beneficial bacteria, allowing the yeast to multiply actively, so nasal congestion only increases. Nearly everyone with chronic sinus infections has inflammation caused by the growth of yeast colonies. And if you take antibiotics, chronic sinusitis won’t go away and should be treated with antifungal medications and nasal sprays.

A suitable over-the-counter medication for treating sinusitis is the colloidal silver nasal spray. The trace element silver saves with various complex infections, it is allowed to be taken orally in solution.
For sinus infections, rinse the nasal cavity
Dissolve 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 g) of table salt in 1 cup (240 ml) of slightly warmed water. The composition will be softer, without irritating the mucous membrane, if you enter it at the tip of a teaspoon of baking soda.
Rinse your nose with clean, warm tap water. How it’s done? We collect the solution with the nostril (about 2.5-7.6 cm) – a baby pear for rinsing the nose / eyedropper will help – and instill the composition lying down or collect the solution from the palm of your hand, bending over the sink… After getting the solution into the nasal cavity, gently blow our nose out. The solution should not come into contact with the eyes.

Do the same with the second nostril. Continue rinsing your nose until the nasal cavities are clear enough.
To defeat the infection, such manipulations are carried out at least 2 times a day. One rinsing procedure removes up to 90% of germs, which contributes to a quick recovery.
Do not use standard over-the-counter anti-congestants (drugs for the relief of a runny nose and nasal congestion) for more than 2-3 days, as with prolonged use they provoke chronic sinusitis. The method described above will allow you to get rid of chronic sinusitis in 6-12 weeks. If the throat is sore, it is helpful to rinse it several times with a mild saline solution (as for rinsing the nose, but at a lower concentration).
